THE LYNO eCOURSE - MODULE 1
Module 1 of the LYNO® eCourse includes the Bunkie Test, the linear FROM tests, the Yellow Page Wedges technique, the analysis of the test results as well as how to facilitate the release of restricted fascia patterns.
Each of the 3 modules is covered over a period of 4 weeks, and includes text, videos and quizzesand a Q&A live meeting at the end of each week to discuss questions and case studies.

CASE STUDY ASSIGNMENT
Yes and no; you will learn how to approach the body as a whole, but Module 1 touches on linear movement only. Rotation (which is the most important functional movement) is covered in Module 2 and the scapula and arms are covered in Module 3.
Yes, the reason why we have divided the course into 3 parts, is to allow the students to capture each part fully before moving on to the next. We also expect students to practice 12 case study sessions on family members or friends (who volunteer to act as clients), before they move on to the next module.
Yes, you need a smartphone which provides an accelerometer, a function needed to use the goniometer on the Lyno app. The majority of our measurements are done digitally with the goniometer on the app. Most mobile phones do have this function, but there are some budget phones which can not be used.
No, but we prefer that you have at least one year's experience working with clients in the medical, wellness or exercise fields.
Yes, we allow 2 months each for Modules 1 and 2 and a maximum of 5 months to complete Module 3. We have divided each module into 4 sections or weeks, with a practical session at the end of each week. This is to help online students to work on a schedule and to finish the course within 8 months. After Module 1 and 2, students need to complete 12 case study sessions on friends and family, which will initially take 2 hours per session, but eventually only 1 hour. Make sure that plan your commitment in a way that you will finish both these 2 modules in time. After the 3rd Module, you will need to do 36 case study sessions before you are allowed to do the theory and practical exams. This normally takes 3 months to complete, depending on the student's availability. The only way to become an effective practitioner is to practice the process regularly.
The essence of Lyno is the holistic assessment of fascia mobility. We know that fascia restrictions is the main cause of dysfunctional movement patterns, which causes overload of other structures, resulting in chronic symptoms. Once you have pinned down the cause of the chronic symptoms, you may use different modalities to restore movement in the area. We have done many years of experimenting and the technique that we are currently using works fast, is pain-free, has no side effects and is very effective. Our results speak for itself. Licensed Lyno Practitioners should use the Lyno technique as their first option, but non-licensed practitioners may find that their own modalities are equally effective, provided that it is applied according to the analysis of the FROM Test.
No, Lyno is a trademarked brand and only licensed practitioners may work under the brand name. You may of course use the concept without advertising it as Lyno.
Yes, once you have passed the theory and practical exams, you will sign a Membership Declaration which includes the Lyno Code of Conduct and you will pay a monthly subscription fee which gives you access to the Lyno application, all updates on tests and techniques, practitioner forums, refresher courses and all our branding material. The monthly subscription is US$25.
Yes, you can post questions on the course itself, but you will also have access to a live online meeting with Benita once a week, where you can also interact with other students who are at that point busy doing the same course as you.
